General MRO Aerospace (GMA) is a globally recognized FAA 145 Repair Station that specializes in maintenance and repairs of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, fuel and electromechanical aircraft components. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Hydraulic Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will contribute to the design, analysis, development, and improvement of hydraulic systems used in aviation applications. Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze fluid motion and hydraulic system performance.
  • Design, develop, and evaluate hydraulic components and systems.
  • Perform calculations, simulations, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Investigate system performance issues and recommend effective solutions.
  • Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, specifications, and technical reports.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering, manufacturing, maintenance, and quality teams.
  • Ensure designs comply with applicable aviation standards, regulations, and company procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement, reliability, and safety initiatives.
Requirements

Qualifications:  

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with fluid mechanics, fluid motion analysis, and hydraulic systems.
  • Strong understanding of hydraulic components, circuits, pressure, flow, and system control.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Aviation or aerospace industry experience.
  • Experience with aircraft hydraulic systems and related certification requirements.
  • Familiarity with engineering analysis and CAD/simulation tools.
  • Experience with testing, validation, troubleshooting, or system integration.
