Pay Range: $26.00 - $31.00 hourly

Position Overview:

Reporting to the Sanitation Manager, the CIP Technician is responsible for verifying Clean-in-Place (CIP) systems to ensure processing equipment is cleaned and sanitized in accordance with food safety, product quality, regulatory standards. This role supports efficient operations by verifying cleaning effectiveness, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with Production, Quality and Maintenance teams to ensure equipment is production ready. 


 What You'll Do 

· Monitor and validate CIP systems, including chemical concentrations, temperatures, flow rates, and cycle times.

· Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Sanitation teams regarding equipment availability and cleaning schedules. 

· Perform APC, allergen, conductivity, titration, or other verification testing as required for validation.

· Document CIP activities, chemical usage, test results, and corrective actions.

· Inspect equipment and report maintenance concerns, leaks, or damaged components.

· Oversee inventory of sanitation chemicals, supplies, CIP-related to sanitation CIP performance. 

· Support environmental and water conservation initiatives through efficient CIP operations.

· Drive CIP validations and continuous improvement projects related to sanitation and CIP performance.

· Perform passivation and validation of new equipment utilizing COP tank if necessary. 

· Identify and report cost savings opportunities. 

· Perform chemical titrations as needed.

· Perform 5S Program auditing monthly. 

· Participate in Gehl training, meetings, and team building. 

· Work in unity with the CIP Specialist and outside contractors to complete the CIP systems validation as per schedule. 

Requirements

· Experience in food or beverage manufacturing sanitation operations.

· Knowledge of CIP systems, chemical handling, and food safety programs.

· Ability to interpret sanitation procedures (SSOPs), SOPs, and process flow diagrams.

· Basic computer skills for completing documentation and reports.

· Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
