Elevar Therapeutics is seeking an experienced, driven, and dynamic Human Resources Business Partner to join our rapidly growing organization. Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, this critical role will support a broad range of HR business needs across the organization. The Human Resources Business Partner will leverage strong leadership, consulting, and relationship-building skills to partner with leaders and employees, driving organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, talent development, and business performance. This highly visible position requires strategic and operational human resources expertise, organizational development experience, sound business acumen, strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to influence, motivate, and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. This is a remote-based position located in the United States.


Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a strategic HR partner to business leaders, aligning talent and organizational strategies with business objectives while leading workforce planning, succession management, talent reviews, performance enablement, and employee development initiatives that strengthen organizational capability and drive sustainable growth
  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations, conflict resolution, workplace investigations, and risk mitigation while ensuring compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices
  • Design and deliver DiSC-based workshops, leadership development programs, and team effectiveness initiatives that strengthen self-awareness, collaboration, and high-performing teams
  • Serve as the primary HR partner for European employees, advising on local employment practices, supporting workforce growth, and ensuring a consistent employee experience aligned with global HR standards and company values
  • Lead core HR programs, including performance management, goal setting, talent reviews, succession planning, employee development, and workforce planning initiatives
  • Understand the commercial business, strategy and plans, and work closely with commercial leadership and the organization to ensure we have the people, capabilities, structures, processes, and experience to execute on those plans
Requirements

We are looking for an articulate, energetic, and dynamic leader possessing a high degree of professionalism, integrity, emotional intelligence, and confidence. Exceptional communication skills, a passion for learning, and the ability to work in a complex, fast-paced entrepreneurial environment are critical to the long-term success of this position.

  • Bachelor’s degree with 15 years; Master’s degree with 12 years; or PhD with 8 year’s experience. Proven director-level/functional area management experience demonstrating business acumen, developing and delivering functional/department strategy, delivering results, championing innovation, coaching and developing subordinates including remote and cross-functional teams.
  • 10+ year’s experience in Human Resources, Talent Management, Organizational Development, or relevant area
  • Experience supporting commercial organizations in biotech, pharmaceutical, or life sciences environments, ideally through product launch or rapid commercial scale-up
  • Experience supporting global HR programs and partnering with business leaders to meet the needs of an international workforce while aligning with local requirements and organizational objectives
  • Experience with DISC training, assessment tools, or related behavioral and communication-style frameworks to support leadership development, team effectiveness, and coaching
  • Strong experience managing employee relations issues, including investigations, performance concerns, conflict resolution, coaching leaders, and mitigating organizational risk
  • Exceptional collaboration skills, strong relationship building, and stakeholder management and flexibility to meet commercial business needs while moving key programs and priorities forward
  • Discretion, comfort, and confidentiality in working with very sensitive information
  • Results-oriented individual who is highly motivated, decisive, flexible in thought, and has the creativity to excel in and contribute to a rapidly growing company

The anticipated annual base salary range for this role is $180,000 - $220,000. Final compensation depends on multiple factors including but not limited to, relevant experience, skillset, depth and breadth of knowledge, internal equity, and external market factors.
