JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a strategic, data-driven, and results-oriented Sr. Manager/Director of Technician Marketing to lead the development and execution of our technician marketing strategy. This role is responsible for building the programs, channels, and experiences that strengthen our connection with skilled technicians and support the growth of our technician network.


This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can translate business and workforce needs into effective marketing strategies, build scalable programs, and use data to continuously improve performance. The level of the role will be determined based on the candidate’s experience and demonstrated capabilities.


As a member of the marketing team, this leader will partner closely with technical recruiting, leadership, and other cross-functional teams to align priorities, support business demand, and strengthen the technician experience.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Technician Growth Strategy: Develop and execute an integrated technician growth strategy focused on expanding technician acquisition, strengthening engagement with our technician bench, and growing FlexTrades’ technician network. Align strategy with recruiting priorities, client demand, and company growth objectives.
  • Technician Journey Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve the technician journey from initial awareness through application, onboarding, deployment, and ongoing engagement. Partner with technical recruiting to identify opportunities to improve conversion, optimize processes, and enhance the overall technician experience.
  • Demand Generation & Engagement Channels: Develop, manage, and optimize the channels that attract and engage technicians, including email, digital marketing, job boards, technician communities, review sites, and other emerging channels. Evaluate channel performance and identify opportunities to expand reach within priority technician segments.
  • Content & Enablement: Partner with marketing and technical recruiting to develop messaging, content, campaigns, tools, and resources that effectively communicate the FlexTrades value proposition and support technician acquisition and engagement.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Establish KPIs and reporting for technician marketing programs. Analyze performance and translate insights into recommendations that improve channel effectiveness, engagement, conversion, and overall marketing impact.


Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related discipline.
  • 7+ years of marketing experience, with a focus on growth, acquisition, engagement, talent/candidate marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience developing and executing multi-channel marketing strategies that drive measurable results for a service-oriented organization.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to turn data and insights into actionable strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives while balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Experience leading technician, talent, candidate, employer brand, community, or workforce-focused marketing programs.
  • Experience with Bullhorn, Sense, Salesforce, marketing automation, analytics, job boards, or similar MarTech platforms.
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial staffing, workforce solutions, skilled trades, or a related industry.
  • Experience building or scaling marketing programs, channels, or capabilities in a growth-oriented service organization.

Salary Description
$120,000 - $140,000 + bonus
