$53.00-$58.00 Per Hr. (Depending on Experience)

Highland Health & Rehabilitation of Cascadia is looking for a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our rehabilitation team. In this role, you'll help residents regain independence, confidence, and quality of life through personalized, hands-on care — all while being part of a supportive, team-oriented skilled nursing environment.

What You'll Do

  • Assess referred patients' medical condition, functional capabilities, and rehabilitation potential
  • Design and administer individualized treatment programs with clear, achievable goals under physician direction
  • Document patient progress and communicate status/needs to patients, families, and the care team
  • Delegate appropriate treatment to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and provide clinical supervision
  • Direct COTAs and Rehab Aides in skilled tasks, ensuring compliance with State Practice Acts and OBRA
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with residents, families, and interdisciplinary staff
  • Participate in care planning, utilization review, case management, and family conferences
  • Educate patients and families on occupational therapy techniques and home strategies

What You Bring


Education: 

Graduate of an accredited school of occupational therapy


Licensure/Certification:

Current state license as an Occupational Therapist

Current CPR certification


Experience: 

Six months of long-term care experience preferred (new grads with strong clinical training encouraged to apply)


Skills:

  • Strong communicator who can explain treatment plans clearly to residents, families, and staff
  • Commitment to patient confidentiality and professionalism
  • Reliable, punctual, and dependable team player

Qualifications


Education:
