ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate the complete new-hire onboarding process, including required documentation, system setup, communication, and preparation for an employee's first day. 
  • Coordinate and facilitate new-hire orientation, helping new employees understand DeBordieu's culture, expectations, policies, benefits, and commitment to exceptional hospitality. 
  • Create and distribute our weekly employee newsletter and other employee communications. 
  • Assist with the coordination of content and information for the Club's member newsletter
  • Coordinate the Club's participation in job fairs, college recruiting events, and community recruiting initiatives
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition activities, special events, and programs that help make DeBordieu a great place to work. 
  • Assist with planning and coordinating our annual Employee Wellness Fair and other wellness initiatives. 
  • Assist with HR, payroll, benefits, workers' compensation, 401(k), and other internal or external audits
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation. 
  • Assist with benefits administration and employee benefit questions. 
  • Support recruiting efforts, including job postings, applicant communication, interview coordination, and pre-employment processes. 
  • Assist with training and development initiatives, employee meetings, and other People & Culture programs. 
  • Provide general HR support to employees and managers while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and excellent customer service. 
  • Assist the Director of People & Culture with HR projects, compliance initiatives, reporting, employee relations, and other departmental responsibilities as needed. 
Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Two - three years experience in an HR support role or administrative position preferred.
  • Paylocity experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build positive relationships with colleagues.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Occasionally required to stand for long periods and walks, climbs stairs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, bends, stretches and twists or reaches.

  • Continuous repetitive motions. 
  • Moderate noise level in the work environment (e.g. business office with computers, printers, copy and fax machines, moderate traffic).
  • Must be able to handle hot and cold interior and outdoor conditions. 
  • Indoor and outdoor - ability to tolerate all seasonal weather conditions. 
  • Must be able to handle a fast-paced, high-end, sophisticated environment. 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • High School diploma or GED required. 
  • Country Club or Golf Club experience is a plus but not required.
  • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
