JOB SUMMARY:
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for the day-to-day administration and execution of Human Resources programs and processes across Renova One. This role serves as a key resource for employees and leaders by supporting employee relations, benefits administration, payroll, onboarding, compliance, performance management, and HR systems. Working closely with the Vice President of Human Resources, the Human Resources Manager helps ensure consistent HR practices across the organization while providing hands-on support for employees and managers. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to HR projects and organizational initiatives while developing broader strategic HR experience over time.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
- Partner with the VP of HR on HR strategy, planning, and execution across the organization
- Partner with department leaders to identify workforce needs and create effective staffing plans
- Drive HR process improvements and streamline HR operations for greater efficiency and compliance
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure consistency and a positive experience
- Lead and facilitate new hire orientation, ensuring a consistent, engaging welcome experience for all new team members
- Provide guidance and leadership on employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and performance improvement plans
- Administer company policies and ensure consistent application across all departments
- Support HR process improvement initiatives and recommend operational efficiencies
- Partner with the VP of HR on special projects and organizational initiatives
- Assist with implementation of HR programs and process enhancements
- Contribute to employee engagement and culture initiatives
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and lead HR risk management efforts
- Manage benefits administration, annual open enrollment, and employee inquiries
- Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timely submission of payroll data
- Coordinate with payroll vendors or internal payroll teams to resolve payroll issues and discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with payroll-related tax laws, wage and hour regulations, and recordkeeping requirements
- Support the development and implementation of training programs and leadership development
- Ensure accurate recordkeeping and HRIS data management
- Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports for leadership decision-making
- Provide backup recruiting support as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 3 years of Human Resources experience with progressively increasing responsibility
- Experience administering payroll, benefits, onboarding, and employee relations programs
- Strong understanding of employment laws and HR compliance requirements
- Experience supporting managers with employee relations investigations, coaching, and performance management
- Experience with HRIS and payroll systems; Paylocity experience strongly preferred
- Multi-state HR experience preferred
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred
