This role supports platforms including RealPage, HALO, and Grace Hill, providing training, troubleshooting, and ongoing support to help our teams work more efficiently.
What You'll Do
- Serve as a go-to resource for RealPage, HALO, and Grace Hill
- Provide training, troubleshooting, and user support
- Develop and deliver training materials, guides, and process documentation
- Assist with system updates, rollouts, and improvements
- Support onsite teams with exceptional customer service
- Travel to properties, as needed.
- Participate in regular in-person and/or Teams meetings
- Collaborate across departments to improve systems and processes

Position Summary
To provide oversight, user support, training, and team development on all property management software and systems. The Systems & Team Development Specialist will work closely with the Director of Systems & Team Development to ensure all deadlines, goals, and expectations are being executed and continuously met.
Essential Duties
- Represent ACC’s mission, vision and values with all internal and external partners.
- Stay abreast of applicable federal, state, and local laws related to property management operations that may affect company policies and procedures, including but not limited to Fair Housing and Landlord Tenant Law.
- Assist in identifying and executing strategic direction for the department.
- Continue professional development related to training techniques and learning strategies.
- Develop and deliver training curricula both virtually and in-person with topics identified by the Director of Systems & Team Development and Vice President of Operations.
- Assist with the development, support and administration of the online learning paths within the Learning Management System.
- Perform remote desk audits as requested by the Director of Systems & Team Development, to ensure accountability and quality control.
- Manage and maintain the Property Management Software settings to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of daily operations, including but not limited to, user management, document management, implementations and post-migration activities.
- Maintain a working knowledge of all Property Management Software and the Learning Management System.
- Assist with the software set-up and implementation of new properties.
- Ensure timely responses to all daily tickets in HALO.
- Suggest future training topics based on HALO support ticket data.
- Assist with the revision and management of ACC documents and forms, as needed.
- Perform other Property Management Software and Learning Management System tasks as needed.
- Perform site field report and/or file audits, as requested by the Director of Systems & Team Development.
- Provide Lease-up support, as requested by the Director of Systems & Team Development.
- Complete special projects as requested by the Director of Systems & Team Development.
- Understand, maintain, and stay up to date on property specific compliance requirements.
- Complete all assigned reports and/or projects to the Director of Systems & Team Development by the required deadline.
- All other duties, as required.
Knowledge, Skill & Ability Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 5 years of property management or industry related experience required.
- Knowledge of project-based Section 8, Section 42 and Section 515 experience required.
- Knowledge of fair housing laws a plus.
- Knowledgeable and proficient with computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software (MS Outlook, Word and Excel).
- Experience with RealPage/OneSite software is required.
- Must be able to physically inspect the properties.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
- Flexibility with working hours and availability for later hours or Saturdays, as needed.
- Ability to prioritize and possess efficient time management skills.
- Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills with ability to handle complaints in a positive and time efficient manner.
- Possess a high level of resourcefulness & problem-solving skills.
- Goal-oriented, team player.
- Ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
- Exhibits a high degree of professionalism and respect through appearance and interactions with others.
- Ability to lift to but not limited to 25 pounds unassisted and as needed.
Work Environment
This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers & fax machines, filing cabinets/etc.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described are those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to physically stand, walk, bend, climb, and use full hand range of motion and finger dexterity to touch and feel. Must be able to reach with hands and arms and lift up to 25 pounds unassisted and as needed.
Travel
Travel is required to assigned property locations using personal transportation. Must also be able to travel to all trainings and meetings arranged through the corporate office periodically throughout the year.
