DESCRIPTION
The Supply Planning Analyst leads the design, development, and continuous improvement of reporting, KPI visibility, and advanced analytics that support Costa Farms’ supply planning and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes. The Supply Planning Analyst partners closely with Supply Planning, Operations, Horticulture, Sourcing, Finance, and IT to develop KPI dashboards, automate reporting, support scenario analysis, and improve data usability for supply reviews, troubleshooting, and cross-functional planning decisions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards, KPI reporting, scorecards, and automated analytics supporting Supply Planning and IBP.
- Develop and monitor key supply planning KPIs, including OTIF, IPF, shrink, take rate, forecast accuracy, inventory health, service levels, and planning performance.
- Design reporting solutions that enable rapid KPI review, root-cause analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
- Maintain a centralized source of truth for supply planning metrics and reporting.
- Develop automated exception reporting and risk identification tools to proactively highlight supply and inventory issues.
- Lead 80/20 analytics and performance reporting to prioritize high-impact opportunities and corrective actions.
- Partner with Supply Planning, Operations, Horticulture, Sourcing, Finance, and IT to deliver actionable dashboards and business insights.
- Provide analytical support, scenario modeling, and KPI trend analysis for BLT, BTL, and IBP reviews.
- Establish and govern KPI definitions, reporting standards, and data governance processes.
- Analyze supply planning performance, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
- Translate business requirements into scalable reporting, predictive analytics, and self-service BI solutions.
- Identify and resolve data quality issues affecting reporting accuracy and planning decisions.
- Support system integrations by defining reporting requirements, data models, and performance metrics.
- Document KPI methodologies, reporting logic, and governance standards to drive consistency and adoption.
- Support strategic projects related to planning optimization, forecast visibility, inventory management, and supply chain performance.
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain planning, business intelligence, analytics, operations planning, or related disciplines preferred.
- Strong experience with Power BI, data modeling, dashboard development, KPI reporting, and data visualization.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel and Business Intelligence reporting capabilities.
- Horticulture, agriculture, perishables, manufacturing planning, or production planning experience preferred.
- Experience in supply chain, production planning, inventory analytics, or business operations analytics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data to diverse audiences.
- Ability to operate effectively both independently and as part of a team.
