Help Keep Our Marketplace Business Moving

Action Industries is growing its presence across Amazon, Home Depot, Menards, eBay and other digital channels, and we’re looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Marketplace Operations Specialist to help keep those channels running smoothly.

This is a hands-on operations role for someone who enjoys structure, clear priorities and measurable results. You’ll help make sure marketplace orders are processed accurately, inventory information stays current, customer and retailer requirements are met, and issues are resolved in timely fashion.

If you’re organized, resourceful, comfortable working in multiple systems, and take satisfaction in getting things right and keeping work moving, you’ll fit well here.

You don’t need to know every system we use on day one. We’ll teach you our processes and platforms. What matters most is your ability to learn, execute consistently, ask good questions and take ownership of your work.

What You’ll Do

Most of your time will be focused on marketplace order, inventory and account operations.

· Process and invoice marketplace orders accurately and on schedule, including daily Home Depot and weekly Menards activity.

· Work between marketplace vendor portals and our ERP system to maintain accurate order information.

· Enter tracking information, process cancellations, and verify shipped quantities against system records.

· Review inventory availability against open marketplace orders and flag potential fulfillment issues early.

· Support marketplace compliance requirements and help maintain strong account health.

· Assist with Amazon inbound shipments, shortage investigations and claims for missing inventory.

· Process and support returns, refunds, replacements and other marketplace exceptions.

· Respond to a limited volume of customer questions through Amazon, Home Depot, eBay and other digital marketplace channels.

· Serve as a trained backup for Action Direct when additional customer support coverage is needed.

· Help maintain clear work instructions and standard operating procedures as marketplace requirements change.

· Identify recurring issues and opportunities to make processes more accurate, efficient or scalable.

· Support marketplace sales growth by helping new products and listings move successfully through operational and compliance requirements.

What Success Looks Like

You’ll know you’re succeeding when:

· Marketplace orders are processed accurately and on time.

· Inventory, tracking and fulfillment information is dependable.

· Marketplace compliance requirements are consistently met.

· Returns, claims and exceptions are resolved with strong follow-through.

· New marketplace listings and products can be supported operationally as the business expands.

· Processes become more reliable and efficient over time.

· Your work contributes to measurable marketplace sales growth and strong channel performance.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

We care more about capability, reliability and technical aptitude than a particular degree.

A strong candidate may come from e-commerce, order management, inventory operations, customer service, accounting support, distribution or another detail-oriented operational environment.

We’re looking for someone who brings:

· Experience working with orders, inventory, transactions, customer accounts or other detail-sensitive business processes.

· Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.

· The ability to manage recurring deadlines and work consistently within established processes.

· Ownership and follow-through — you don’t like leaving problems unresolved.

· Resourcefulness and independence, balanced with the confidence to ask questions when needed.

· A results-oriented mindset and motivation to hit measurable goals.

· Clear and professional written communication.

· Working knowledge of Excel, including comfort sorting, filtering and working with data; familiarity with tools such as XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP and pivot tables is valuable.

· Technical aptitude and comfort learning new software, online portals and business systems.

· Curiosity about using technology and AI-assisted tools, with a proven ability to work smarter and improve processes.

Helpful Experience — But Not Required

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

· Amazon Seller Central

· Home Depot, Menards or other retailer/vendor portals

· eBay

· SAP or another ERP system

· Rithum / CommerceHub

· SPS Commerce

· Mirakl

· Syndigo or other PIM platforms

· Zendesk

· Dropship order management

· Marketplace claims, returns or reconciliation

· Garage door, hardware, building products or home improvement products

Don’t check every box? We still encourage you to apply. Strong operational skills, curiosity and the ability to learn quickly matter more than experience with every specific platform.
