Unlike traditional debt relief options like settlement, collections, or bankruptcy, the consumer rights attorneys offer a unique and specialized service, disputing clients’ debts and helping them take control of their financial futures.
The Business Account Manager role is responsible for identifying and recruiting businesses to offer credit card debt relief services and tax settlement services to consumers, across multiple industries, including financial services, marketing, and lead generation spaces to help expand our national network of affiliates and drive growth for our consumer rights law firm. The Account Manager will not only focus on building a strong referral vertical but will also play a critical role in bringing on full sales floors that want to operate as Legacy affiliates helping us scale our outreach and client acquisition channels. This individual will be responsible for prospecting and pitching potential partners, capturing agreements, and supporting their early growth. They will work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure affiliates have the tools, resources, and training needed for success. The ideal candidate is proactive, entrepreneurial, and driven by measurable growth. This role requires travel to meet with partners, attend events, and develop high-impact relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage a high-performing affiliate pipeline by identifying, qualifying, and onboarding new partners including both referral affiliates and full sales-floor affiliates interested in selling Legacy’s legal consumer rights and debt relief programs.
- Prospect, pitch, and present Legacy’s consumer rights and debt relief programs to potential affiliates, clearly articulating the business value and partnership benefits.
- Negotiate and execute affiliate contracts, ensuring all agreements align with company policies and legal standards.
- Lead onboarding and integration efforts for new affiliates providing training, materials, and support during their initial months of partnership.
- Partner with sales teams and affiliate operations to ensure a smooth transition for sales floors converting to full affiliate partnerships.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with active affiliates to drive engagement, growth, and retention.
- Monitor performance metrics and reporting to identify opportunities for optimization and support affiliate success.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, legal, and operations teams to align strategy, share insights, and improve the affiliate experience.
- Represent Legacy at industry events, conferences, and meetings to expand visibility and attract new affiliate partners.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is preferred.
- At least three (3) years of experience in B2B account management, business development, or affiliate partnerships, preferably in financial services, legal, or performance marketing industries.
- Demonstrated success building and maintaining affiliate or partner relationships, including onboarding and performance management.
- Proven ability to engage sales floors or call center operations as affiliate partners.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Experience with CRM tools and pipeline management (Salesforce preferred).
- Strategic thinker with excellent organizational and relationship-building skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 75% for meetings, events, and affiliate visits.
