The Account Executive is responsible for managing and growing large accounts at NCQA. They are responsible for developing strategic relationships with key accounts and supporting these accounts in meeting their quality improvement goals through adoption of NCQA programs and services. This position may require some travel.
Primary Responsibilities
Sales
- Support NCQA’s largest key accounts to help them meet their goals.
- Develop and execute a strategy to grow accounts.
- Manage your time/schedule to meet identified targets.
- Increase company revenue by generating sales from existing customers.
- Effectively discuss the value of NCQA programs and services and relate it to potential customer organizations.
- Manage regular account reviews and annual meetings with customers.
- Meet or exceed sales and opportunity goals for key products.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of NCQA programs and the health care industry.
- Responsible for maintaining complete and accurate data in Salesforce.
- Other duties to help support the organization, as necessary.
- Assist AV P with monthly pipeline management, reporting, reconciliation and projecting of closed business.

Sales strategy and growth
- Develop strategy and oversee execution to meet sales targets.
- Meet and/or exceed all targets.
- Oversee ongoing pipeline management.
- Execute sales playbook.
- Work closely with all internal key stakeholders to ensure customer success.
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience in sales.
- 5+ years sales experience
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Numbers-focused, with a clear drive to meet and exceed goals.
- Ability to work with CRM systems, including Salesforce.
- Microsoft Office experience, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Experience in B2B sales in a healthcare environment.
- Ability to conduct in-depth sales presentations that highlight key benefits, ROI and the value of NCQA programs.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments.
Compensation & Benefits:
- For new hires, this position pays in the range of $105K - $115K per year, depending on experience.
- This position is eligible for an sales team incentive bonus, payable in accordance with policy.
