As an IT Support Specialist with IT Services, you'll help employees across Valley stay connected, productive, and supported by resolving technical challenges and maintaining the systems they rely on every day. From troubleshooting hardware and software issues to supporting enterprise applications and cybersecurity practices, your expertise will help ensure our teams can focus on what matters most: serving our clients.


Pay: Range starts at $22.00/hour (pay is calculated based on years of related working experience)


Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00am – 5:00pm (With on call shifts)

Job Summary

The IT Support Specialist provides advanced service desk support for various enterprise applications, networking, workstation operation systems, and hardware. The Specialist maintains professional relationships and delivers efficient on-site and remote support to users throughout the company.


Essential Functions

  • Provides accurate, efficient, and professional customer service; maintains professional relationships with Valley staff, customers, and stakeholders
  • Support laptops, desktops, multifunction printers, and other peripheral hardware
  • Supports Windows 10/11, iOS, and Android operating systems
  • Supports Active Directory and Microsoft printer management applications
  • Supports Microsoft 365 applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and OneDrive
  • Assists with network connectivity issues and troubleshoots various software application and hardware component issues
  • Supports MFA and MDM enrollment of mobile devices
  • Supports Slack, Adobe, AnyConnect (VPN), and other endpoint software
  • Support of WebEx collaboration suite and other communication applications
  • Documents incidents and solutions within Zendesk ticketing system and contributes to knowledge base articles
  • Maintains asset inventory and ensures accuracy
  • Continuously and independently learns new skills and seeks new solutions that improve the organization’s technical effectiveness and efficiency
  • Follow HIPAA requirements and identifies security risks while enforcing policies and procedures
  • Participates in weeknight and weekend on-call support rotations

Education

Experience

  • Two years of experience in an IT technical support role

Licenses/Certificates

  • Driving position: requires a minimum age of 21 and a current driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

  • IT training certificates
  • Previous experience with SentinelOne, Slack, Adobe, AnyConnect or comparable applications
  • Experience with WebEx or comparable video conference solutions and hardware
  • Knowledge of network connectivity and services such as IP Addressing, DNS, DHCP, etc.
  • Understanding of networking basics such as cabling, VLANs, trunks, etc.
  • Understanding of Meraki Security appliances, Switches, and Wireless Access Points
  • Microsoft print management services with Uniflow or comparable services
  • Device and application security including best practices
