Come Smile with Us!
Delta Dental of Iowa invites candidates for a Provider Relations and Business Development Intern to join our team for Summer 2027. You will gain hands-on experience supporting initiatives that help Delta Dental of Iowa grow and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, including dentists, employer groups, consultants, brokers, and members. You will also assist with projects that support provider engagement, business development, customer relationship management, and market growth strategies.
This internship provides a unique opportunity to experience both growth-oriented and relationship-focused functions within Delta Dental. You will participate in provider office visits, customer and broker meetings, sales planning activities, provider engagement initiatives, community events, and cross functional business projects. By working across both teams, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of how Delta Dental builds and maintains relationships that drive long-term growth and value for customers and providers alike.
Here is your chance to apply what you’ve learned in the classroom with meaningful work, network with fellow interns, and grow your career all while making a difference in our community.
This temporary internship will start on May 19, 2027, and work from our Johnston, Iowa location. Hours will be Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
