Description
JOB SUMMARY:
To perform preventative maintenance and tasks to keep the facilities operating for reliability and Visitor Experience. This position will maintain a high-quality level of the visitor experience thru maintenance of all visitors and back of house areas.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Perform daily maintenance inspections and repairs
- Perform Daily/ Weekly Preventative Maintenance tasks
- Perform Daily/Weekly pressure washing.
- Perform event set-ups and take-downs as directed by the Facilities Supervisor
- Perform a wide variety of general building maintenance repairs and services; such as plumbing, electric, HVAC.
- Monitor and maintain all building systems as assigned;
- Responsible for alerting the Facilities Supervisor of any unusual occurrence or damage that may have taken place or that may occur;
- Assure safety standards are used which comply with all company, local, city, state, and federal guidelines; as well as OHSA.
- Ensure compliance of all work-related activities in a fair, ethical, and consistent manner;
- Follow established company policies and those outlined in the Employee Handbook;
- Special projects and other responsibilities as may be determined;
- Cross train with the Custodian position.
- All other duties as assigned.

Requirements
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or GED; plus two (2) years’ experience in facility maintenance work or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
- Proficient with hand tools and power tools required
- Experience in general maintenance or trades including painting, carpentry, electrical, mechanical or plumbing systems preferred
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Maintain a professional and courteous manner with all staff, volunteers, and visitors
- Occasional varied weekly schedule to assist with events and programs
- Some exposure to chemicals used for cleaning and parts maintenance
- Frequent carrying and lifting up to 60 lbs.
- Able to work outside in summer and winter climates
- Occasional reaching, stooping, bending and repetitive arm motions
