The Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver is primarily responsible for overall warehouse operations and inventory management, while also providing critical local delivery support as needed throughout the week. This dual role ensures efficient inventory handling, accurate order fulfillment, and timely delivery of parts to internal and external customers.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Warehouse Operations (Primary)
- Maintain an accurate running inventory and enter purchase order data into the inventory control system.
- Accept, verify, inspect, and record all incoming shipments according to company policy.
- Notify the Parts Manager of back orders, short shipments, defective items, or shipping issues.
- Store items in correct locations, restock supplies, and process invoices for accounting.
- Maintain warehouse organization, safety, and cleanliness.
- Complete special projects and duties as assigned by the Parts Manager.
Delivery Operations (Secondary/As-Needed)
- Pick, load, and deliver customer orders, verifying that part numbers and quantities match invoices.
- Utilize dispatch software to optimize delivery routes, provide accurate ETAs, and collect proofs of delivery.
- Collect payments for COD customers and facilitate customer returns using proper forms.
- Perform daily pre/post-trip vehicle inspections, keep assigned vehicles clean, and promptly report needed maintenance.
- Obey all federal, state, and local motor vehicle laws while maintaining a professional appearance on the road.
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Strong organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
- Proficiency with inventory control systems, dispatch software, and basic computers.
- Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Safe driving record and thorough understanding of warehouse safety policies.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stretch, kneel, squat, and maintain stationary positions for extended periods.
- Completion of all assigned company, safety, and driver training prior to due dates.
