Description
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for the leadership, planning, developing, and controlling of activities to ensure national revenue, profit and customer satisfaction goals are met. The primary responsibility of this role will be to coach, develop and lead a team of senior Territory Business Managers to achieve revenue goals in a complex selling environment. The Regional Sales Manager will work in a collaborative team and will help identify and coordinate sales efforts and resources to maximize strategic account growth.
- Develop, present, implement, and manage strategic sales plans to meet sales forecasts
- Plan and direct sales staff activities and objectives to maximize sales volume as well as identify employee performance goals and measurements, partnering with them to obtain positive results
- Lead and support national account strategies to establish access to VA hospital systems and networks in key regions
- Builds a strong team of Territory Business Managers and develops talent through coaching, feedback, and support
- Develops effective relationship with Marketing to drive marketing strategies and priorities
- Effectively navigate accounts (VA Hospitals, key institutions, and group practices) to drive optimal results
- Cultivate Influential Partnerships by developing meaningful relationships based on electroCore’s values and strategic initiatives that positively impact all customers (internal and external).
- Demonstrate Superior Business Acumen through a clear understanding of the current territory business situation, marketplace, and competitive conditions, including the ability to quickly analyze territory business trends to identify opportunities for growth
- Foster collaboration through working together in a matrix team environment (with internal and external partners) and inspiring an atmosphere of teamwork to achieve key business drivers such as market access, preferred reimbursement status, and overcoming other challenges/obstacles
- Exhibit a high-level of Technical Knowledge (Clinical & Scientific) by demonstrating strong scientific and clinical knowledge
- Demonstrate Compelling Communication with the ability to turn strong technical knowledge into highly effective communication with key customers

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent experience
- Ability to influence and credibility to engage internal and external customers
- High degree of emotional intelligence with ability to connect with people and build strong relationships, internally and externally
- Understanding of medical device regulatory and compliance environment
- Ability to travel overnight when needed, 50+% Preferred Experience with:
- 5+ years of outside sales experience, with at least three years medical device sales experience
- Direct to Consumer business models
