Job Summary:
Responsible for the coordination of the OpenTable reservation system, all Togo orders, accurately entering orders into the POS system, warmly greeting to the members and guests, seating and managing the floor chart to ensure an efficient and welcoming dining experience. This position serves as a primary point of communication between members, guests, and service staff, and the kitchen.
Essential Functions:
- Warmly greets and seats members and guests upon arrival.
- Maintains a visible and professional presence at the host stand.
- Listen, comprehend, transcribe, repeat back Togo orders and dining reservations for confirmation.
- Accurately enter Togo orders into the POS system.
- Coordinate and monitor reservations through the OpenTable reservation system.
- Assures the correct appearance and cleanliness of the host stand, menus, and credenza.
- Maintains an inventory of complete menus, menu covers, children’s menus (breakfast and all-day dining), crayons, pens, lighters, reserved cards, and no phone use cards.
- Attend scheduled staff meetings.

Position Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an upscale restaurant / club environment
- Computer skills and ability to navigate programs such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, experience with Jonas POS or similar software is important.
