Heartline Staffing is recruiting a Technical Accounting Senior Manager for a 100% remote opportunity available to candidates located in Pacific or Mountain Time. This senior-level position serves as a subject-matter expert on complex, non-recurring and emerging accounting matters and plays a key role in ensuring financial statements and disclosures are accurate, complete and audit-ready.

The position requires significant Big 4 public accounting experience, an active CPA, deep technical accounting expertise, current knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements, and the ability to research complex accounting matters and document conclusions through clear, well-supported technical accounting position papers and memos.

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Technical Accounting Senior Manager researches and evaluates the accounting impact of significant new and non-recurring transactions, develops accounting positions under U.S. GAAP, monitors emerging accounting guidance and supports financial reporting and SOX compliance.

This position reports into the Technical Accounting & External Reporting leadership team, works closely with the Corporate Controller organization, and partners extensively with FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Legal and business teams.

COMPENSATION
Base salary is determined by the candidate's geographic compensation zone:
• Zone 1: $150,000-$204,920
• Zone 2: $135,000-$184,646
• Zone 3: $128,200-$139,738
• Standard Target Bonus: 10% Of Base Salary Annually
• Applicable Base Salary Range Is Determined By Candidate's Geographic Zone

• Support Preparation And Review Of Workpapers Underlying Form 10-Q And Form 10-K

• Own And Operate Key SOX Controls Within Assigned Areas
• Coordinate With External Auditors On Walkthroughs And Requests
• Maintain Thorough, Audit-Ready Documentation

CHART OF ACCOUNTS & FINANCIAL REPORTING
• Serve As Technical Accounting Reviewer / Approver In Chart Of Accounts Creation And Maintenance
• Verify Account Mappings And Financial Statement Alignments
• Ensure Accounting Treatment Adheres To Internal Standards

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL PARTNERSHIP
• Partner With FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Legal And Business Teams
• Evaluate Accounting And Reporting Implications Of New Transactions And Strategic Initiatives
• Partner With Compensation Team To Forecast Stock-Based Compensation Expense
• Work Closely With Corporate Controller Organization
• Operate Within A Fast-Paced Financial Close Environment

• Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance Or A Related Field REQUIRED
• Active CPA REQUIRED
• 8+ Years Of Progressive Accounting Experience REQUIRED
• Significant Big 4 Public Accounting Experience REQUIRED
• Strong, Current Knowledge Of U.S. GAAP REQUIRED
• Strong, Current Knowledge Of SEC Reporting Requirements REQUIRED
