Hairdresser

Linden Square Senior Care is looking for a dependable and friendly Hairdresser to provide hair care services to our residents. The Hairdresser will work directly with residents to provide haircuts, styling, and other grooming services while making sure residents feel comfortable and respected.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide haircuts, shampooing, styling, blow-drying, and other hair care services.
• Provide hair coloring, perms, and beard or mustache grooming as appropriate.
• Schedule and provide services based on resident needs and preferences.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
• Clean and sanitize tools and equipment after use.
• Work respectfully and patiently with residents.
• Be mindful of residents who may have mobility issues or other special needs.
• Communicate with residents and staff regarding appointments and services.
• Follow facility policies and applicable sanitation and safety requirements.
• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality.
• Provide a positive and pleasant experience for residents.

Qualifications

• Current Cosmetology or Barbering license as required by state regulations.
• Previous experience working with seniors is preferred.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Dependable, patient, and professional.
• Comfortable working with residents who may have physical or cognitive limitations.
• Able to work independently and maintain an organized work area.
