Summary Description

  • Process transactions for the members via video conference and the use of remote Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs), accurately and timely, while adhering to policies and procedures, eliminating loss to the credit union. 
  • Educate members on products and service, resulting in the member’s ability to earn and/or save money. 

Core Competencies

· Subscribe to the Credit Union philosophy, educating members on the benefit of being an owner. 

· Assist members professionally and accurate, delivering exceptional member experience via the ITM. 

· Perform transactions within defined policy and procedures, to include required reporting. 

· Utilize loss prevention measures to minimize losses including the review of all negotiable instruments involved in transactions.

· Assist and perform administrative functions to include: Indexing of documents, Fund Transfers (wires), ITM balancing, image transfer, check image balancing.

· Educate members on current promotions and other product and services that would be beneficial to the member. Identify opportunities creating referrals for FSR follow up. 

· Ensure smooth and efficient transition of members to branch staff if additional in person assistance is needed. 

· Perform all available transactions per procedures via the Interactive Teller Machine (ITM).

· Perform Nightly balancing procedures for the virtual teller drawer and any needed ITM.

· Communicate effectively and efficiently with branch staff to ensure continual ITM functionality. 

· Aid in set up and continued streamlining of the video teller and Express Branch concept. 

· Dress professionally and within the specified video teller dress code. 


Other Duties

· Process all incoming mail daily.

· Assist with all incoming chats/texts, secure messages, info emails, faxes, and voicemails. 

· Aid in answering phone calls.

· Provide support to other staff members as needed. 

· Performs other duties as directed or needed.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

Knowledge of and ability to communicate effectively via video conference. Knowledge of financial products and services. Manual coordination to operate computer keyboard. Ability to think, soothe irate members, communicate with the members quickly and accurately in a pleasing manner. Ability to work effectively as a team member sharing duties and responsibilities and ensuring daily completion.


EDUCATION OR FORMAL TRAINING

High school diploma or equivalent.


EXPERIENCE

Technological and previous Teller experience preferred.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Starting hourly rate - $17.03+ hourly depending on experience
