Channel Manager
Arrow International is seeking a commercially minded and highly organized Channel Manager to join a newly created function as we continue to grow and expand the business.
This individual will help develop and manage the strategy for an assigned channel, partnering across Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Finance, Supply Chain, and other areas of the business to identify opportunities, improve execution, and support continued growth.
Because this is a new function at Arrow, we’re looking for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset who is comfortable building processes, working through ambiguity, and taking ownership of initiatives from idea through execution. The ideal candidate will also be comfortable working with data, identifying trends, and using analysis to support business decisions.
This role will report to the Director, Channel Management and Product Marketing.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop a strong understanding of the assigned channel, including customers, distributors, consumers, competitors, and key purchase drivers.
- Build and manage channel plans focused on growth, product assortment, merchandising, promotions, distribution, and overall channel performance.
- Identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement through market insights, customer feedback, performance data, and competitive activity.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Finance, Supply Chain, and other teams to develop and execute channel initiatives.
- Monitor channel performance and key metrics, identifying risks, trends, and opportunities that require action.
- Analyze sales, shipment, sell-thru, inventory, and other relevant data to support business decisions and improve channel performance.
- Build strong relationships with distributors, customers, and internal stakeholders to better understand the market and drive execution.
- Help establish processes, tools, and best practices as Arrow continues to build out the Channel Management function.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field required.
- 7–10 years of progressive experience in channel management, category management, sales, product management, merchandising, or a related commercial function within a CPG manufacturer, distributor, broker, or similar organization.
- Strong business and commercial acumen with the ability to understand customer needs, market dynamics, product performance, and financial impact.
- Comfortable working with large data sets and translating information into practical, actionable business recommendations.
- Strong proficiency in Excel; experience with business intelligence or data visualization tools is a plus.
- Experience developing and presenting fact-based recommendations to internal leaders, customers, or distributor partners.
- Strong understanding of merchandising, promotional strategy, product placement, and in-market execution.
