Requirements:
- Must be enrolled at an accredited university
- Receiving credit for the internship
- Be able to commute to the office as these are not remote internships
- All internships are unpaid, and we do require flu vaccinations
The IT Department (Information Technology Department):
The team within an organization that manages its technology systems, infrastructure, and digital services. Its primary role is to ensure that employees have the tools, connectivity, and support they need to perform their work efficiently and securely. Key functions of an IT Department typically include: Infrastructure Management – Maintaining servers, networks, cloud environments, and hardware. Help Desk & Support – Assisting employees with technical issues, system access, and troubleshooting. Cybersecurity – Protecting data, systems, and networks from threats through monitoring, firewalls, encryption, and compliance policies. Software & Applications – Managing business applications, updates, integrations, and licenses. Strategic Planning – Aligning technology initiatives with organizational goals, driving innovation, and supporting digital transformation. In short, the IT Department acts as both a service provider (helping staff day-to-day) and a strategic partner (enabling growth and efficiency through technology).
Homeless outreach:
1. conduct outreach with the team to people experiencing homelessness (PEH) (includes camps, parks, streets, shelters, and drop-in/engagement centers, and any other places PEH might be) 2. case management tasks (completing benefit and housing applications) 3. organizing donations
Human Resources:
supports MHCGM's 450+ employees by providing excellent service and assistance in an approachable manner. Our team helps new hires through the onboarding and orientation process; provides fantastic benefits to existing staff; supports staff in achieving licensure and credentialing; processes payroll every two weeks; implements a competitive recruitment and retention strategy; and supports the daily needs of staff and managers.
