2026- 2027 Snowsports Center Ski/Snowboard Instructor
Description

Share your passion! Our team is seeking ski and snowboard instructors for the winter season. These team members spend their days teaching, skiing, and riding with guests. No experience is required to be a ski and snowboard instructor since we are able to coach employees everything, they need to know to be successful. The only requirement is the ability to ski or snowboard at an intermediate level.


Responsibilities:

  • Instruct group lessons ranging in size from 1- 5+ students per group
  • Ensure the safety of each student and those around your group
  • Accurately assess each student and assign students to appropriate level
  • Provide constructive and helpful feedback to students and families
  • Assist with program registration for ski and snowboarding programs
  • Support fellow ski instructors with lessons and students when needed
  • Organize the ski school equipment before, after, and in between lessons
  • Help guests and students with equipment for lessons
  • Uphold a high level of customer service and teamwork throughout Buck Hill

Requirements
  • Must be at an intermediate level or higher of skiing
  • Instructors are required to work a minimum of 6 hours a week
  • New instructors must pass the ‘New Instructor’ training
  • Have to attend at least 4 clinics per season
  • Must be able to work outside in variable weather conditions
Salary Description
$13/hr
