Description

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Effectively manage customer accounts to ensure performance expectations are met and exceeded
  • Corporate & Field Sales and various oilfield locations including Drilling, Completions and Workover sites within Alaska
  • Act as the main point of contact for assigned customers and manage daily operational relationship needs
  • Majority of time will be spent communicating with customers on location, in customer offices, via phone and email, etc. to stay informed on all customer activity and act as a liaison with Operations to resolve issues immediately and effectively
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with the decision makers for Wireline Fishing Completion CH/OH applications
  • Use existing and assigned contacts to network and develop new opportunities for Yellowjacket’s services
  • Frequently review and report to Operations and Sales management on the status of current customers and future opportunities with existing customer base
  • Work closely with VP Business Development Manager and GEO Manager to review effectiveness of company sales strategies and develop plans to meet Yellowjacket’s short and long-term objectives
  • Maintain highest levels of integrity and customer service in all interactions
  • Assist Operations teams with pricing and bid processes
  • Keep accurate and up to date records of customer/equipment activity in the weekly company sales reports and weekly conference calls
  • Assist with delivery, scheduling and operations planning as needed
  • Stay up to date in informed on Yellowjacket and industry HSE standards. This will include frequent participation in company and customer safety meetings. 
  • Always maintain safe working habits and promote Yellowjacket’s culture of putting safety first
  • Must be able to generate proposals and pricing as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Requirements

Qualification Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant Sales/Operation O&G Industry experience (Wireline Fishing Completion applications in cased hole and open hole experience preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to develop relationships and sales opportunities with new customer base
  • Strong customer service experience required
  • Must be willing to take and respond to customer/operations calls on a 24/7 basis to troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Must be willing to travel within assigned area (Alaska) to meet customer sales and administrative needs
  • Valid Driver’s license and acceptable MVR.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, twist, squat, crawl and walk; may have long periods of standing or sitting.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and written.
  • Must have flexibility to work any schedule based on business needs and travel as job requires.  
  • Ability to clear/pass pre-employment screening, testing and job-relevant hiring requirements.
