Accord is a pioneering residential treatment program specializing in metabolism for mental health. We support clients in their mental wellness through nutrition, movement and exercise, stress reduction, circadian rhythm alignment, and avoiding metabolic disruptors.


Position Summary: We are seeking a Temporary, Part-Time Registered Dietitian or Nutritionist to join our interdisciplinary team beginning in November. This is a 15–20 hours per week position, providing individualized nutrition care, education, and meal related support to clients across our residential, day, and outpatient programs.


Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Adheres to Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics guidelines. 
  • Advises clients on healthy nutrition practices. 
  • Collaborates well with an interdisciplinary team. 
  • Conducts comprehensive nutrition consultations for Accord residential, day and outpatient clients, as well as Ellenhorn clients as needed. 
  • Develops customized meal plans and grocery lists. 
  • Develop and manage individualized ketogenic nutrition care plans. 
  • Deliver evidence-based nutrition education through individual counseling and group programming. 
  • Follows the organization’s policies and procedures. 
  • Helps clients set and reach their health goals. 
  • Keeps detailed client records. 
  • Meets with clients regularly to track their progress. 
  • Collaborate closely with Accord’s chef to ensure individualized ketogenic meals are provided. 
  • Available for spending time in therapeutic milieu for meal support and additional questions. 
  • Participate in the organization’s rotating on-call schedule, providing on-call coverage every other week. 
  • Additional responsibilities as requested.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to walk, sit, drive a vehicle, use hands to type, handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms, bend, walk up and down stairs, talk, hear, and see. Employee must be able to occasionally lift/move up to 25 pounds.
  • Work Environment: Majority of work is performed in an office setting.
Requirements
  • 2 + years of patient experience is preferred. 
  • Bachelor’s Degree is required, with a Master’s Degree Preferred. 
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with active Massachusetts licensure. 
  • Provide documentation of completed nutrition certifications or relevant professional training.
Salary Description
$45/hr
