Painter Job Summary:

Bedrock Truck Beds is seeking a Painter to prepare, powder coat, and inspect metal products while maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency. The Painter will support production by preparing surfaces, applying consistent coatings, and helping deliver durable products customers can trust.

Painter Responsibilities:

• Sand and prepare parts for powder coat application.
• Apply powder coat at the correct thickness before heat processing.
• Adjust equipment controls to maintain consistent powder flow.
• Inspect painted products to confirm coating quality.
• Use lifting and moving equipment to transport materials safely.
• Wear required PPE, including safety glasses and masks.
• Follow department attendance, quality, and safety policies.
• All other duties as assigned by management.

Painter Skills and Competencies:

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Clear interpersonal communication and teamwork.
• Ability to identify parts and finishes, including grill guards, bumpers, and racks.
• Dependable, safety-minded, and willing to learn.
• Leadership qualities and a positive, people-focused attitude.

Painter Qualifications:

• Painting or powder coat experience preferred.
• Ability to visually inspect work and apply the proper amount of powder coat.
• Must pass respiratory fit and pulmonary function tests.
• Must be certified in forklift operation or willing to be trained.

Painter Work Environment:

This Painter role works in indoor and outdoor production areas with noise, weather conditions, and airborne particles. Required PPE must be worn.

Painter Physical Requirements:

• Sitting and walking for extended periods.
• Stooping, bending, twisting, and leaning as needed.
• Occasional lifting up to 40 lbs.
