Canon Machine Operator – Night Shift

Pay: $20.00 per hour
District Photo is seeking dependable, mechanically inclined Canon Machine Operators to join our night-shift production team at our Phoenix facility. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous machine operating experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Previous machine operator experience is required. Experience operating digital printing or other commercial print equipment is strongly preferred.
Available Night Shifts
B Shift – Monday through Thursday
6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Four 12-hour shifts
D Shift – Friday through Sunday
6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Three 12-hour shifts
Pay: $20.00 per hour
What You'll Do
As a Canon Machine Operator, you will help keep our high-volume production operation running safely, efficiently, and accurately. Responsibilities include:
- Operate Canon production printing equipment in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Set up, start, monitor, and operate equipment throughout the production shift
- Monitor print quality and identify defects or inconsistencies
- Make routine machine adjustments to maintain quality and productivity
- Perform basic troubleshooting and escalate mechanical or technical issues when necessary
- Load materials and supplies and monitor consumable levels
- Follow production schedules and work priorities
- Complete required quality checks and production documentation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Communicate equipment issues, downtime, and production concerns to leadership
- Work closely with team members, maintenance, and supervisors to meet daily production goals
- Follow all safety, quality, and operating procedures

What We're Looking For
- Previous machine operator experience required
- Previous experience with digital printing, commercial printing, Canon equipment, or similar production print machinery strongly preferred
- Comfortable working around large, high-speed production equipment
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Ability to learn machine settings, operating procedures, and quality standards
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a production team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where production priorities may change
- Ability to work the full assigned 12-hour night shift
