Are you currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field and looking for an internship where you can gain real-world experience? This is an opportunity to step beyond the classroom and get hands-on experience, working directly alongside our Human Resources team.

What You'll Be Doing - Your primary focus will be supporting our recruitment and onboarding efforts as well as employee engagement initiatives.


You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Support and lead recruitment efforts for hourly, shop-floor positions.
  • Conduct initial candidate screenings and interviews.
  • Assist with new-hire orientation and onboarding activities.
  • Serve as a technical resource by addressing and resolving questions and issues related to the recruiting function.
  • Create and post job openings on various job boards, internal platforms, and social media channels.
  • Organize and maintain employee records by scanning and uploading new and existing documents into the electronic filing system.
  • Assist the Human Resources department with additional HR-related functions and projects, as assigned.
  • Manage and respond to departmental mail and correspondence.
  • Follow and comply with all safety regulations and work rules and maintain a clean and orderly work area.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Currently enrolled in a 2- or 4-year college program, preferably studying Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • A strong written and verbal communicator
  • Comfortable interacting with employees and candidates
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • A critical thinker and problem solver
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Eager to learn and willing to take initiative
  • Adaptable and comfortable working with people at all levels of an organization
