About The Role
The Director of Operations Support and Training provides strategic leadership for branch support, operational training, staff development, and process improvement. This role partners with credit union leaders to strengthen operational consistency, employee capability, compliance, service delivery, and readiness for organizational change.

What You’ll Do
- Lead the branch support, operations training, and facilities teams in advancing consistency, efficiency, employee development, and member service across all branches
- Lead Operations training and talent development programs, including onboarding, coaching, leadership development, needs assessment, and training effectiveness.
- Lead operational improvement initiatives, resolve complex operational challenges, and ensure successful implementation of process improvement and system changes.
- Oversee facilities, vendor relationships, security administration, budgeting, and other operational support functions.
- Serve as the organization's designated Security Officer, providing oversight of information security policies, procedures, and compliance initiatives
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, audit standards, and operational controls.
Is This You?
- College degree in a related field, or equivalent education and experience
- 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in financial services, retail operations, training, organizational development, or a related field
- Financial services industry experience, including member service and sales experience
- Management experience, especially managing across multiple locations
- Advanced knowledge of and passion for adult learning principles, instructional design, facilitation, coaching, and training evaluation, including demonstrated experience designing, facilitating, and evaluating training programs
- Strong computer skills, including SharePoint and DNA (or comparable core system)
- Knowledge of budgeting, vendor management, and operational controls
- Professionalism in conduct, communication, and appearance
- Ability to translate business priorities and data into clear operational, learning, and project plans
- Strong professional judgment, results orientation, communication, project management, change management, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel to offsite locations
- Ability to be bonded
- Preferred But Not Required: Consumer lending experience
