Through Golden Queen Mining Co., LLC, we operate a modern gold and silver open-pit, heap-leach mine just outside Mojave. The site uses conventional open-pit mining, cyanide heap leaching, and Merrill-Crowe processing to recover gold and silver from crushed and agglomerated ore. Who You Are

You are a safety-focused, results-driven professional who takes pride in maintaining high work standards and a professional presence. You work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. You are detail-oriented, proficient with computer systems, and committed to quality, safety, and environmental compliance.

Experience in heap leach and Merrill-Crowe operations is preferred, including the operation and maintenance of processing equipment such as pumps, piping systems, clarifiers, and filter presses. Experience operating mobile equipment, including forklifts and track dozers, is also desirable.

As a Process Operator, you will report directly to the Merrill-Crowe Process Supervisor and play a key role in supporting safe and efficient processing operations.

This is a safety-sensitive position.

What You Do

· Perform the day-to-day operation of the Merrill-Crowe Recovery Plant and heap leach pad, including assisting in the refinery.

· Monitor and balance solution flows from the heap leach pad to the pump box and Merrill-Crowe Plant.

· Install conveyance and distribution piping on the heap leach pad.

· Level crushed ore and construct roads utilizing track dozer on the heap leach pad.

· Insure proper solution distribution on the heap leach pad.

· Monitor and optimize gold and silver recoveries using an AA analyzer and make appropriate changes as needed.

· Perform inspections periodically throughout the shift of the entire heap leach facility to ensure solution containment.

· Perform solution analyses for solution grade, CN concentration and pH periodically throughout the shift.

· Perform minor equipment repairs as needed.

· Perform the day-to-day operation of the water system.

· Assists with training new process operators. 

· Assist with the development of methods and procedures. 

· Perform all work in a manner to achieve a zero level of incidents in the process department.

· Participate in process department safety meetings.

· Offer ideas and suggestions for continuous improvement of heap leach facility operations.

· Additional duties as assigned. 

What You Bring

· Experience in heap leach and Merrill-Crowe operations.

· Experience with operation and maintenance of processing equipment including but not limited to pumps, piping, clarifiers, and filter presses.

· Experience in operation of forklifts and track dozer.

· Good computer skills.

· Experience in metallurgical and environmental procedures and quality controls.

· Effective communication skills, solid interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

· High work standards and a professional presence. 

· Results-oriented and a solid team member. 

· Able to drive projects forward with minimal supervision.

· Valid driver license.
