Job Summary:

A Managed Repair Examiner is responsible for management of Direct Repair Network files, using excellent written and verbal communication to ensure that clientele receive the highest level of customer service and company objectives are met.


Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Make inbound/outbound calls and respond to electronic information requests pertinent to file management
  • Build and maintain relationships with policyholders, clients, and contractors through friendly and prompt handling of files
  • Interpret and analyze policyholder inquiries regarding process and status of files
  • Take ownership of any file inquiries or issues related to scheduling, inspections, estimate completion, and completion of contractor work
  • Communicate a clear plan of action to resolve any policyholder, client, or contractor issues using specified company guidelines
  • Document file status and ongoing progression within the direct repair network file handling systems using clear and effective language
  • Review and upload any documentation received pertinent to specific policyholder files
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required, or equivalent combination of education, certification and/or experience 
  • Prior experience in the insurance, construction, or customer service industries is highly preferred
  • Able to use discretion and judgement to resolve issues
  • Exhibits professional image and behavior
  • Adheres to assigned work schedule and tasks 
  • Ability to work overtime or flex schedules during high volume or CAT events is required
  • Ability to problem-solving and use critical thinking 
  • Ability to handle conflict in a professional and courteous manner
  • Excellent verbal, electronic, and written communication, and customer service skills
  • Work with peers and all departments for the common goals of the organization
  • Reliable in meeting work commitments
  • Must be flexible and adapt to most any situation
  • Ability to utilize technology devices, software and application, previous experience with Microsoft Office Suites and basic computer skills required
  • Reliable high speed home broadband internet connection with minimum 25 meg download and 10 meg upload speeds and ability to connect to home internet via ethernet cord is required if working remotely is required

Salary Description
$19 - 22 per hour, based on experience
