What You'll Do

  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns
  • Perform routine maintenance through advanced automotive repairs
  • Complete engine, transmission, suspension, steering, brake, electrical, and other repairs based on      experience and certification level
  • Use Mercedes-Benz diagnostic equipment and OEM repair procedures
  • Complete repairs accurately and efficiently in a flat-rate environment
  • Document diagnostic findings, repairs performed, and recommendations clearly
  • Perform inspections and verify completed repairs
  • Work closely with Service Advisors and Parts personnel to keep repairs moving efficiently
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow dealership, manufacturer, and workplace safety procedures

Compensation

This is a flat-rate Automotive Technician position with an expected annual compensation range of $66,000 – $150,000.

The posted compensation range is based on actual earnings of employees who currently hold or have previously held this position.

Individual compensation will vary based on factors including the technician's established flat-rate rate, experience, certifications, qualifications, productivity, hours produced, and available work.

The posted range represents the compensation Larson Automotive Group reasonably expects for this position based on current and historical employee earnings and is not a guarantee of any specific level of annual earnings.

Requirements

  

What We're Looking For

  • At least 1 year of professional automotive repair experience
  • Flat-rate technician experience strongly preferred
  • Dealership or high-volume automotive repair experience preferred
  • Mercedes-Benz or European automotive experience is a plus, but not required
  • ASE certifications preferred
  • Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work efficiently without sacrificing repair quality
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Dependable, professional, and team-oriented work ethic
  • Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
  • Valid driver's license and ability to safely operate customer and dealership vehicles
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
