Oak Grove Technologies, LLC, a dynamic and fast-growing federal contractor, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Space Domain Awareness (SDA) Subject Matter Expert (SME) in support of the USSPACECOM J31 Global Sensor Management Division and Missile Warning Functional Manager’s Office (MW FMO).

Requirements

In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing primary support to Global Sensor Management functions for Space Domain Awareness operations.


Required Experience

  • 10+ years of experience operating, or in direct support of the Space Domain mission area.
  • Extensive comprehension of the Space Surveillance Network and other multi-mission sensors contributing to SDA and their respective architectures.
  • Familiarity with operational Space C2 tools such as CAVENet and SPADOC.
  • Strong motivation, creativity, and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
  • Ability to make decisions in high-pressure situations and remain composed during stressful circumstances.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

Additional (Preferred) Qualifications

  • Prior staff experience at a COCOM, Component Command or HHQ is desired. 
  • Familiarity with Missile Defense, and Missile Warning, and sensor management.
  • Background/fundamental understanding of orbital mechanics/astrodynamics.
  • Experience with Space Force and other DoD space agency special access program (SAP) activities.
  • Knowledgeable on future Space C2 tools and architectures (e.g. C2BMC-G, SDANet).
