Becker & Company is seeking an organized, relationship-focused Sales Account Development Sales Representative to engage current clients, identify growth opportunities, and increase adoption of our investigative services. The representative will connect with new and existing contacts within client organizations, learn their claims and investigative needs, conduct virtual service presentations, and move qualified opportunities through a structured sales process. This role is well suited to an early-career salesperson who is coachable, persistent, detail-oriented, and comfortable communicating by phone, email, and video.
What You Will Do
- Follow up with new and existing contacts at current client organizations, including adjusters, supervisors, managers, vendor-management contacts, and other authorized stakeholders.
- Research assigned accounts to identify new contacts, inactive users, service gaps, cross-sell opportunities, and changes in client structure.
- Use phone, email, video meetings, and approved social channels to build rapport, understand needs, and create qualified opportunities.
- Qualify each opportunity by confirming the contact, need, service fit, timing, decision process, and practical next step.
- Conduct virtual presentations and product demonstrations, including audit-related offerings and other assigned services, tailored to the client’s needs.
- Educate clients on Becker & Company services, including surveillance, social media investigations, background checks, special investigations, and public records services.
- Guide opportunities through the sales process by addressing questions and objections, coordinating pricing or terms within approved authority, and securing next steps or assignments.
- Manage a consistent follow-up cadence and prevent qualified opportunities or client requests from going unattended.
- Maintain complete and accurate CRM records for contacts, activity, opportunity stage, value, expected timing, objections, and next steps.
- Partner with outside sales leadership, account representatives, marketing, and operations on messaging, campaigns, lead routing, client feedback, and service follow-through.
- Share recurring client feedback and competitive insights with sales leadership and the appropriate internal teams.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly goals for engagement, qualified opportunities, presentations, service adoption, revenue growth, and CRM discipline.
- Perform other duties reasonably related to the role as assigned.
What We Are Looking For
- Zero to five years of inside sales, customer service, account support, business development, insurance, claims, or related experience.
- Clear, professional communication by phone, email, and video.
- Curiosity and the ability to ask effective questions, listen for needs, and explain solutions in plain language.
- Consistent follow-through, attention to detail, and comfort working toward measurable goals.
- Ability to manage multiple client conversations and priorities without losing accuracy.
- Experience with CRM, Microsoft Office, and virtual meeting tools, or the ability to learn them quickly.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree and insurance, claims, or professional-services experience are preferred, not required.
