Bay Colony Community Association is seeking a skilled and dependable part-time Clubhouse Maintenance Assistant to join our Facilities team. This position performs a variety of technical and general maintenance tasks, including installation, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and general facility support for the Beach Club. JOB DUTIES
- Performs minor construction, modifications and routine preventative maintenance (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry.)
- Provides miscellaneous support such as installing/moving furniture; small appliance repair; loading/unloading vehicles; bring in mail and packages, etc. as necessary.
- Conducts inspection of work to be done, provides estimate of labor and material costs, orders materials and completes necessary paperwork for billing.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance inspections and submits inspection reports to Beach Club Manager.
- Maintains appropriate maintenance, inventory and repair logs.
- Uses a variety of hand, power, and test tools or equipment.
- Transport h2b employees to and from work to housing complex and occasional errands.
- Maintain vehicle(s): gas, oil, cleanliness - interior and exterior; fill out daily vehicle reports and report any malfunctions to management.
- Reports repair and maintenance needs to supervisor.
- Washes and vacuums vehicles and ensures vehicles are kept clean.
- Follow all traffic regulations.
- Attends any food and beverage meetings.
- Report to work as assigned in neatly pressed uniform and in accordance with Club uniform, grooming and dress policies.
- All other duties as assigned.

- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years of related work experience in in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of building mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems in a commercial property setting.
- Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
- Must be able to work days, nights, weekends and holidays and must be able to work long hours during season.
- General Carpentry Skills, Pool Certification, HVAC and General Maintenance Skills.
- Display proficiency in air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems and controls, carpentry and finish skills, kitchen equipment, vehicles, energy conservation, and/or general building management.
- Display solid knowledge and skill in the safe use of hand and power tools and other materials required to perform repair and maintenance tasks.
- Must be 25 years of age or older per our Fleet Company requirements.
- Must have valid drivers license, clean record.
- Requires communicating effectively co-workers, and supervisors.
- Must be computer proficient. Knowledge of Windows based programs such as Word, Excel. Must be able to use email and utilize internet.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to drive, sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, climb ladders, tools or controls and talk or hear. The associate is occasionally required to sit; reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and taste or smell.
The associate must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
