Job Summary: 

  

Performs various legal and clerical duties in support of the Attorneys and Legal Department functions. The person hired for this position will ultimately gain a substantial knowledge of all court and office procedures, rules and authority and litigation process subject to general supervision. An analytical, confident, self-starter with a willingness to learn. Work closely with the calendaring team to meet all internal e-filing timelines. 


Essential Duties:

  • Navigate through the E-filing Portals
  • Manage E-filing Calendar
  • Prepare pleadings for uploading
  • Upload cases for E-Filing maintaining accuracy of work through daily reports and follow up
  • Print accepted filings and send for service
  • Be well versed on all processes and procedures, such as E-filing timelines and coding
  • Ensure quality of work while maintaining quantity of work


Requirements

Job Requirements: 

 

Education/Experience:

  • Minimum of 1-year experience in a legal, banking or business field is required
  • College degree is a plus
  • Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Excel and Word
  • Comfortable using spreadsheets, databases, and standard office software
  • The ability to be well organized, timely, and manage multiple tasks
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and self-directed
  • Demonstrate curiosity, adaptability, and a willingness to learn

     
Salary Description
$18 - $22
