Position Summary:
We are searching for a business administrator to support either of client's locations in West Mifflin, PA or Schenectady, NY.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support invoice processing and work collaboratively with procurement and requesters within the organization to ensure the timely routing and approval of invoices.
- Monitor invoices on hold, work with suppliers to resolve invoice-related discrepancies, address supplier inquiries regarding invoicing, and review all incoming invoices to ensure base level requirements are met.
- Communicate professionally both internally and externally to resolve issues and problem solve.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or associate's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively, independently, and as a part of a team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Experience with accounting, procurement, or a related financial role.
- Familiarity with invoice processing and supplier management.
Security Clearance:
Candidates must possess a DOE L Security Clearance.
Background Check and Screenings
A pre-employment drug screening and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, law enforcement records, and employment/education verification is required.
