Lot Attendant - Outdoor/Skilled Trade Experience Preferred


Job Summary for Lot Attendant


We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Lot Attendant to join our auction team. This position is primarily outdoors and involves moving, organizing, inspecting, and maintaining vehicles and equipment throughout the auction lot.


Lot Attendant experience is not required. The ideal candidate has previous experience working outdoors in a physically demanding environment, such as a skilled trade, construction, automotive, equipment operation, landscaping, warehouse/yard operations, farm operations, or a previous lot attendant position.

Responsibilities for Lot Attendant:

  • Safely      move, park, and organize vehicles.
  • Maintain      an organized & accurate vehicle inventory.
  • Assist      with vehicle check-in and staging.
  • Keep      the auction lot clean, safe, and organized.
  • Support      auction operations and special projects as needed.

Work Hours for Lot Attendant:

  • Full-time
  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 9-5
  • Wednesday 9-6
  • Occasional overtime as needed 
Requirements

 Requirements for Lot Attendant

  • Previous experience working outdoors in a hands-on or physically demanding job. 
  • Experience in a skilled trade, automotive, construction, equipment, warehouse/yard, landscaping, farm, or lot attendant position is strongly preferred. 
  • Comfortable working outside in various weather conditions.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures. 
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
  • Valid driver's license is required and a safe driving record. 
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and move items as required by the job. 
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to drive various types of vehicles.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening. 

Physical/Outdoor Requirements 


This is an active, outdoor position. The successful candidate should be comfortable spending the majority of the workday on their feet and working outdoors in heat, cold, rain, and other weather conditions.
