SALARY RANGE:
$65,000 - $85,000 based on experience
HOURS:
8:00am – 5:00pm Monday - Friday with 1 hour lunch break.

DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a motivated Safety Coordinator with 2+ years of Industrial safety experience to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, fostering a strong safety culture, and proactively identifying risks in the workplace. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about creating a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Safety Coordinator promotes a safe and compliant workplace by conducting inspections, identifying hazards, developing safety policies, and delivering employee training. This role partners with management to resolve safety concerns, investigates accidents and near misses, and establishes emergency response plans. Responsibilities also include maintaining OSHA logs and incident records, analyzing safety trends, providing recommendations to leadership, and managing workers’ compensation reporting and return-to-work activities. The Safety Coordinator stays current on safety regulations, practices, and technologies to support continuous improvement across the organization.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 2 years of experience in workplace safety.
- Working knowledge of OSHA and other relevant regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage employees at all levels.
- Proven ability to conduct safety audits, lead training, and perform incident investigations.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health, or related field.
Professional certifications and related experience.
