Assistant Controller
Description

Build your career with a growing aerospace manufacturer.

PacAero Agawam (formerly Litron), part of Arxis, manufactures mission-critical components and assemblies for the aerospace, defense, industrial, and medical markets. Our Agawam facility brings together advanced CNC machining, RF/microwave package integration, hermetic sealing, laser welding, plating, and other specialized manufacturing capabilities.

We’re a growing team of approximately 80 employees, which means this isn’t a role where you disappear into a large corporate finance department. You’ll be close to the business, work directly with site leadership, and have the opportunity to see the impact of your work.

The Opportunity

PacAero is looking for a hands-on, analytical Assistant Controller to lead day-to-day accounting and financial operations for our Agawam and Norton, Massachusetts business units.

Based primarily in Agawam, this role will oversee accounting activities across both locations, provide leadership and direction to accounting team members at each site, and partner closely with site leadership, the Block Controller, and Corporate Finance.  This position reports to the PacAero Agawam General Manager.

This is a highly visible role for someone who enjoys being close to the business — understanding what is happening on the manufacturing floor, connecting operations to financial performance, strengthening processes and controls, and helping leaders make informed business decisions.

The Assistant Controller will support month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, inventory and manufacturing accounting, cost analysis, internal controls, audit requirements, and other key financial activities across both business units.

Limited travel to our Norton, Massachusetts facility is required (less than 10%).
