Job Summary:
The Distribution Center Manager role is responsible for managing all facets of the daily warehouse operations, including receiving, product put-away, order fulfillment, shipping logistics, quality controls, cycle counts, WMS & systems procedures, adherence to all SOP's and overall facility condition. This position will work closely with each team to achieve daily business goals and drive high-quality service levels through direct supervision of departmental supervisors and leads. Our Warehouse Manager will have constant communications with all functional departments in the organization to ensure policies and objectives are fulfilled.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Thorough oversight of Happy Floors & Stone Source operations through daily supervisor meetings and detailed knowledge of SAP and GP operating systems.
- Deliver high quality service through adherence of quality control measures & standards across all functional processes in receiving, accurate order fulfillment, product handling and packing standards, shipping method parameters to ensure accurate, on time and quality conditioned materials are delivered to our customers.
- Maintain our inventory controls through disciplined cycle count process and procedures to deliver variances within stated goals and metrics.
- Responsible for the transactional activities of the warehouse by preparing inventory documentation: this involves accurately recording type, quantity, quality, and other features of inventory for a clear understanding of the state of the inventory.
- Effectively coordinate warehouse configuration and product placement for proficient material handling and space utilization.
- Responsible for the management and training of the distribution center's WMS and TMS Systems.
- Ensures team members understand their duties and responsibilities and oversee that employees perform their job as requested and in a safe and timely manner.
- Enforces the OSHA/DOT safety regulations for the business.
- Monitors warehouse employees' performance and progress towards monthly and quarterly goals and overall operations metric standards. Manages the monthly and quarterly incentive programs.
- Manages employees' hours efficiently by keeping the necessary overtime to minimum, manages employees' times off and attendance and sets employee schedules.
- Motivates, organizes, and encourage teamwork within warehouse employees to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded.
- Ensures employees always wear the adequate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain and enforce operational, safety, and personnel policies and procedures.
- Maintains standards of any health and safety policies and procedures in place.
- Recommends improvement to procedure standards.
- Conducts daily and weekly meetings with the departments to review issues and requirements.
- Assists any other departments and performs any other duties as requested.

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university and at least 5 years of applicable experience
- Prior Management experience in a Distribution Center Setting required & flooring industry experience preferred.
- Must have Knowledge of Warehouse (Inventory) Management System (WMS) and troubleshooting RF Scanner
- Must be able to operate motorized equipment and machinery.
- Comprehensive working knowledge of all Microsoft office product, including MS word, Outlook, and advance proficiency on MS Excel.
