The IT Support Associate manages day-to-day technical project support and information technology (IT) related user/system support. In this role, you will be the go-to resource for phone, virtual, email, and in-person troubleshooting. You will handle everything from hardware installations to software updates, ensuring our distributed computer services run seamlessly. A strong analytical mindset, deep knowledge of IT systems, and a commitment to timely, accurate customer service are essential.

Hardware & Asset Management: Manage all company hardware, including desktops, laptops, iPads, Microsoft Surfaces, monitors, printers, cell phones, desk phones, scanners, and peripherals. Maintain a comprehensive, up-to-date inventory list of all hardware by person and location. Oversee hardware recycling processes.
Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Respond promptly to team member calls and emails. Resolve routine and complex technical support requests via telephone, virtual meetings, email, or in-person. Prioritize requests accurately (Low, Medium, High, Urgent).
Installation & Configuration: Configure and install new hardware and software, including PCs, laptops, printers, and system updates. Coordinate the installation, repair, and modification of telephones, mobile devices, and peripherals.
System Maintenance: Apply hardware and software patches and bugfixes. Assist with Microsoft 365 Copilot setup and administration. Manage tools within the Microsoft 365 Power Platform and the Power Platform Admin Center.
Collaboration & Flexibility: Partner comfortably with our outsourced support organization. Share knowledge actively within a collaborative team environment. Assume other positions or tasks as directed to help meet the company’s daily operational and output needs.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 2+ years of technical support experience focusing on Windows systems, LAN, and Wi-Fi networks. Experience configuring new PCs, laptops, and printers is required.
- Education & Certifications: Help Desk training certification or Microsoft Certification(s) required
Technical Proficiency:
- Proficient in supporting Windows, iOS, and the Microsoft 365 Suite.
- Strong skills in Microsoft tools, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint.
- Fundamental knowledge of IP Phone systems.
- Knowledge of C# programming language is preferred.
Adaptability & Learning: Willingness to expand your knowledge base. Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies, specifically Epicor P21, SQL, and Crystal Reports.
Communication & Organization: Excellent organizational, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Proven ability to multitask incoming calls alongside onsite requests from managers and customers.
Travel Requirements
This position requires travel to our various facilities, including occasional overnight and weekend travel. The coverage zone includes New Jersey, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Georgia, and supporting remote employees along the East Coast.
