Description

CTech Manufacturing is seeking a full-time Press Brake Operator to support our growing production team. This position is a great opportunity for both experienced press brake operators and individuals looking to begin a career in manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. Experienced candidates will have the opportunity to utilize their existing skills, while entry-level candidates will receive hands-on training to develop their press brake and sheet metal fabrication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Operate press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal according to engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
  •  Set up and operate press brake equipment, including selecting and installing appropriate tooling and adjusting machine settings.
  •  Load and position materials accurately to ensure proper bends, dimensions, and finished parts.
  •  Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and production specifications.
  •  Inspect completed parts using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and angle gauges to verify quality and accuracy.
  • Make machine, tooling, and program adjustments as needed to maintain part quality and production efficiency.
  •  Identify and troubleshoot basic machine, tooling, and production issues.
  •  Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all company safety procedures.
  •  Perform routine equipment checks and communicate maintenance needs or equipment issues to appropriate personnel.
  • Work closely with engineering and production teams to resolve issues and improve manufacturing processes.
  • Learn and follow established production processes, quality standards, and safety procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school certification preferred
  • Previous press brake or sheet metal fabrication experience preferred but not required.
  • Entry-level candidates with mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
  • Experienced candidates should have a demonstrated ability to set up and operate press brake equipment independently.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements, or willingness to learn.
  • Ability to use or learn to use precision measuring instruments
  •  Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to understand machine operation, tooling, and basic manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems and make appropriate machine or tooling adjustments, with training provided as needed
  •  Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Training & Development:

  • On-the-job training provided for qualified entry-level candidates.
  • Experienced operators will have opportunities to expand their skills and learn CTech’s equipment, processes, and programming systems.
  • Opportunities for continued training and advancement within the production team.

Work Schedule:

Full-time, First Shift, Monday–Friday (occasional overtime as needed).
