We are looking for a Closures Production Tech - 12 Hour Shift to join this exciting new venture. This position will be on a 12 - hour, 3x2x3 rotation. Candidates should have ability to work day or nights as well as every other weekend. What to Expect as a Closures Production Tech
Closures Production Techs are an important part of our new compression-molded closures operation. In this role, you'll safely and efficiently operate production equipment, including molders, folders, slitters, and printers, while ensuring equipment remains within established operating parameters. You'll perform order changes and line clearance activities, monitor production, and complete quality inspections to ensure products meet established Quality Control Plans and Quality Standards.
Our production team members are expected to pay close attention to detail and quickly communicate machine or quality issues that may require mechanical adjustment or repair. Accurate documentation is an important part of the role, including SPC charting and downtime tracking. You'll also help identify opportunities for Continuous Improvement while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Because this is a growing product line, you'll have the opportunity to learn new equipment and processes while working alongside a team focused on building a successful closures operation.
