Pay Rate: The annual salary rage for this position is $95,000 -$150,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guide only.  RTL Networks considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills as well as market business considerations when extending an offer.



Requirements

  

Primary Responsibilities:

Essential responsibilities of the System Engineer include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide  comprehensive support to the AEHF System Database (ASDB), Flight Software (FSW), and Network AEHF Systems testbed-Tools (NAST-T) 
  • System Administration (Linux/UNIX, Windows, embedded hardware) – deploy, configure, harden, troubleshoot and support disaster-recover (NetBackup/Veeam).
  • Storage Management – Install, secure and monitor NetApp or other NAS/SAN solutions
  • Cyber-Compliance  – apply STIGs, manage patches, upgrades, perform trusted downloads, and maintain RMF-based compliance.
  • Change & Asset Management – execute changes using change management tools and keep asset inventories up to date.
  • Operation Support – work onsite during day-shifts business hours: provide after-hours support when critical operation demands it.
  • Collaboration & knowledge Sharing – lead technical best practices discussion, mentor peers, and coordinate with functional teams to resolve issues. 

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree and 0 years’ experience or bachelor's degree and 0-2+ years' experience or equivalent
  • Must meet DoD 8570 Information Assurance Workforce (IAWF) criteria or information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification at time of hire (i.e., Security+)

Physical Demands:

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.

Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time

Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically


Security Clearance requirements: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level.  US Citizenship is a requirement for clearance at this location.
