Position: Marketing Assistant Intern 

Department: Human Resources


Primary Objective of Position:


Supports the Marketing team by assisting with the development, maintenance, and organization of sales and marketing materials. Coordinates customer visit logistics, monitors customer feedback and survey results, assists with presentations, and performs other administrative and marketing-related tasks to support business objectives.


Major Areas of Accountability:

  • Updates and maintains sales aids, brochures, product literature, presentations, and other marketing materials.
  • Assists in the creation and formatting of customer presentations, internal communications, and marketing content.
  • Coordinates and organizes customer visits, including scheduling, agendas, meeting materials, facility tours, and related logistics.
  • Monitors customer surveys and feedback programs, compiling results and preparing summary reports for management review.
  • Maintains organized electronic files and document libraries for marketing and sales collateral.
  • Assists with trade show preparation, promotional materials, and marketing campaigns as required.
  • Coordinates with Sales, Project Management, Engineering, and other departments to gather information needed for marketing materials and presentations.
  • Supports branding and communication initiatives to ensure consistency across customer-facing materials.
  • Performs administrative and clerical tasks to support the Marketing department.
  • Other duties may be assigned by management to meet business needs.

Education


  • Currently pursuing a two-year or four-year degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • Previous internship, coursework, or extracurricular experience in marketing, communications, or business is preferred but not required.


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:


  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong proofreading and document formatting abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with basic marketing principles, customer communications, and presentation development.
  • Experience with graphic design, video editing, CRM software, or marketing platforms is a plus but not required.
  • Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and take initiative on assigned projects.


Physical Requirements


  • Physical ability to travel freely within manufacturing and office facilities.
  • Ability to work at a computer workstation for extended periods while creating and editing documents, presentations, and reports.
  • This position requires working primarily in an office environment, with limited remote work opportunities based on business needs.

Salary:


$22 - $24/hr
