Kimberton Whole Foods is hiring! We are looking for a full-time Receiving & Stocking Associate.

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week. 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week. One weekend shift is required per week.

Availability: This is a day shift position, with most days starting at 7am.

Age Requirement: Must be 18 years or older.

DAILY OPERATIONS

• Morning duties include assisting in receiving: making space for deliveries without blocking exits or work areas, giving thought to other incoming merchandise. 
• Plans for efficiency when back stocking so that needed items are not buried. All items clearly labeled and dated. Consolidates for maximum space efficiency.  
• Inspecting products to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Afternoon duties include assisting in stocking the Perishable and Grocery departments as needed: Stocking and handling product following guidelines for time and temperature demands. 
• Working in collaboration with the Department Heads to maintain accurate and up-to-date product signage throughout the entire department. 
• Assist the Front End by scanning customers' groceries and completing all transactions efficiently. Carefully and efficiently bags groceries.
•  Assisting in other areas of the store as needed.  

PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES:

• Full sense range (vision, hearing and sense of smell) – the ability to read product labels, distinguish color & smell for quality control as well as the ability to communicate with the customers and co-workers. 
• Lifting, gripping and carrying objects – up to 50-75 pounds frequently, including boxes, cans, tools and other products. 
• Stooping, squatting, & kneeling – stoop and maneuver to pick up boxes from shelving and carts. 
• Walking – short distances to bring items from miscellaneous areas.
• Standing- prolonged standing. 
• Work environment – movement based with the majority of time being in motion (walking & standing) rather that sedentary (sitting). 
• Climate – ability to work in cold environments (cooler, Freezer, back stock area) and handle cold products for extended periods of time on a regular basis.
