Aspire Communications is a startup, turn-key technology integration company based in Orlando, Florida. Formed in September of 2019, Aspire has quickly grown into a 200+ person operation in less than five years and continues to rapidly expand.

About the Role

The OSP Technician/Laborer plays a critical hands-on role in building out telecommunications infrastructure — placing conduit, pulling cable, and executing fieldwork that keeps networks connected. This is physically demanding work that requires precision, teamwork, and a strong commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Execute conduit path placement projects with a strong emphasis on manual labor and physical effort

• Collaborate with the OSP team to plan and implement conduit placement strategies

• Perform trenching and excavation work with precision, adhering to strict depth and alignment specifications

• Operate a range of specialized tools and equipment to install conduit, applying expertise across multiple installation techniques

• Ensure strict adherence to industry standards and safety protocols throughout every phase of conduit placement

• Work with fellow technicians to accurately feed, pull, and secure cables within installed conduits

• Identify and promptly report any deviations, obstructions, or challenges encountered during installation

• Maintain thorough documentation of conduit placement activities for accurate recordkeeping and future reference

• Contribute to a clean, organized, hazard-free job site in line with company safety guidelines

• Communicate progress, challenges, and successes clearly with supervisors and team members

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience with trenching, excavation, or conduit installation preferred; will train the right candidate

• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment associated with conduit and cable installation

• Strong physical stamina — this role involves sustained manual labor, digging, lifting, and working in varying terrain

• Ability to work outdoors in noisy or dusty conditions, and around chemicals, solvents, and mechanical or electrical hazards

• Willingness to accept periodic assignments involving travel away from the immediate district office, based on client needs, business needs, and project scope

• Regional travel required

• Ability to provide support outside standard business hours when project needs require it

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise technical specifications

• Reliable, safety-first mindset and ability to work well as part of a crew

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm (general hours)

• Availability to support work outside regular business hours as needed

• Regional travel may be required
