Key Responsibilities:

- Perform diagnostic mammography procedures with precision and care, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis.

- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, answering questions, and ensuring their comfort and safety.

- Operate and maintain mammography equipment, adhering to safety standards and protocols.

- Review images for quality and clarity, making adjustments as necessary to obtain optimal results.

- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.

- Follow all safety guidelines and radiation protection protocols to ensure patient and staff safety.

- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care.

- Stay current with advancements in mammography technology and best practices through ongoing education.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Certification in Mammography from an accredited program and current state licensure.

- Proven experience performing mammographic imaging, preferably in a clinical or hospital setting.

- Strong understanding of breast anatomy, pathology, and imaging techniques.

- Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills.

- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality images.

- Knowledge of safety standards and radiation protection procedures.

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple patients.

- Basic computer skills and familiarity with medical imaging software.
